A creative dumping ground for issues that interest me personally and professionally, with the thought they may interest you too. Issues such as the business of design, the design of business, the design of objects, design strategy, creative direction, innovation, creativity, thought leadership, observations, as well as recommendations, mid-century modern decorative arts and architecture, and the state of my thinking (and currently the state of my heart).
Design Journal Archives (1965-74)
R_E_P_O_S_T: Absolute jackpot, incorporating two of my many favorite things...mid-century modern style and graphic design.
Design Online is a digital library of Canada's Design Journal for the years 1965 to 1974. You can browse the journals, or enter keywords.
Amazing.

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for posting this. It really is an amazing collection, the articles are great, the design phenomenal. I'll be browsing this for days.
Hi Morgan. Good point. Though that "problem" is in fact why BarryBlog exists in the first place. It's an opportunity to hang things like this that can continue to inspire, to inform, to educate, and in some cases entertain. I have a rather lousy memory and this is like a big file cabinet to me. Though my posts vary some, the large part of my posts are not time sensitive, so as you saw with this post which I originally blogged about over a year ago, older posts are still worth a look, or in some cases, such as this post, a "re=look."
Thanks for taking time to comment and for stopping by.
