A creative dumping ground for issues that interest me personally and professionally, with the thought they may interest you too. Issues such as the business of design, the design of business, the design of objects, design strategy, creative direction, innovation, creativity, thought leadership, observations, as well as recommendations, mid-century modern decorative arts and architecture, and the state of my thinking (and currently the state of my heart).

Octavo.com provides access to rare books in digital format, and are made available for purchase. Some real cool finds here. Check out books by author, subject or source. A resource I hope will grow with time.

Can't wait to dive into Octavo. Our trip was really fun, yet quite sobering too, as we saw lots of people, particularly in Belize City, who are living in squalor. Makes us grateful for the little things, and the big. Though I've been aware of this, it was confirmed over and over how God works hardest in those people's lives. They, in turn, appear more grateful, joy filled, and welcoming to those more fortunate around them. Weird how wealth can draw people away from one another, while those who struggle seem to band together. Something to be noted here. Thanks for taking time to stop by.
