I Have Been There.

Have you? Jesus has, and He is standing with you now.

What a great video/song (really beautiful)! And...I have been there (so many times). I sure love God for all of those "gentle words" to get me rolling again!

It is fair to ask, and if not do not feel obligued to answer, but it appears that your faith has really become more tangible and has grown. Is that a fair assumption? It seems like it to me, and that is awesome.

Oh wow! Thanks for your question, Barry. It is a way for me to share, which is something I'm still learning to do.

I've always believed and felt a connection to God (seriously, I was about five when I realized and REALLY knew that He was here). However, it has been because of friends like you that I've become a lot more comfortable talking about it (it's so important to me, that I've been really guarded about it in the past -- and, maybe still am to a degree -- if that makes any sense?).

Also, two years ago, I finally read the Bible cover-to-cover and feel I have a much better understanding of God, Jesus, Biblical context, and the historical aspects of Christianity in general. By-the-way, reading it all (not just a passage here and there) was prompted by a very strong indication that my calling is to follow Him. I'm not to be a hero, or anything fancy, I'm just to follow. I'm still learning about what that means.

So, I'd say that it IS fair to say that my faith seems more tangible. And, my faith in Jesus has certainly grown (I feel I knew more about God and His angels than Jesus before I completed my reading -- though, I now realize Jesus has been here all along, too). And, I agree...it is awesome. That's why it is so hard to share (I am awe struck by His blessings)!

Thanks again for asking, Barry...you're a great friend and an inspiration, too!

SMILE.

That's really incredible. I thought you seemed more at peace and bold in your faith. Like you, I am trying to determine what it all means, but I suppose we are to be humble, and serve Him with our thinking, our doing and our heart. For me it's a something that I need to hold myself accountable to, in that I am consistent. Guard my heart if you will. Thanks for sharing!
